Who were the victims of the shootings in Tumbler Ridge, Canada?

The mother of 18-year-old shooting suspect Jesse van Rootselaar is among the victims. Jennifer Strang, 39, was one of two of Rootselaar's family members found dead at a local residence, the RCMP said.

Court documents related to a family dispute from 2015 show that Strang and her children had spent years travelling around Canada, with a judge saying the family led "an almost nomadic life", moving from between "Newfoundland, Grand Cache and Powell River, British Columbia" over five years.

At Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, there were four other students and a teacher who were killed, including two other 12-year-old girls. Two boys, aged 12 and 13, were also found dead, along with a 39-year-old female teacher.
