Huge fire destroys warehouse outside San Francisco

Huge plumes of thick smoke rose over Tracy, California, after a fire broke out at a medical equipment warehouse on 11 June.

Staff at the Medline distribution centre, an hour east of San Francisco, were evacuated and all personnel were accounted for, the company said.

Other facilities in the industrial park were also evacuated as firefighters worked to control the blaze.
