Swimmers Daniel Wiffen and Mona McSharry will be Ireland's flagbearers at the closing ceremony for the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
Wiffen, 23, won a gold medal in the 800m freestyle and claimed bronze in the 1500m.
He also competed in the open water marathon on Friday and said being selected for the closing ceremony is "a great privilege".
"I really can't wait, it's a dream come true for me," said Wiffen, who became the first athlete from Northern Ireland to win an Olympic gold medal in 36 years.
McSharry won Ireland's first medal of the Olympics when she finished third in the 100m breaststroke.
The 23-year-old said she was "so shocked" to be selected and it was "an incredible way" to round out the Games.
"I am so excited and grateful for this amazing opportunity to be one of the flagbearers for Ireland," she added.
The 2024 Olympics have been the most successful in Ireland's history.
Gymnast Rhys McClenaghan, boxer Kellie Harrington and rowers Paul O'Donovan and Fintan McCarthy all added to Wiffen's gold medal.
McSharry and Wiffen also won bronze while rowers Philip Doyle and Daire Lynch took a third-place finish in the men's double sculls.
The closing ceremony takes place at the Stade de France at 20:00 BST on Sunday.
