Trump says he is revoking Biden's security clearances

US President Donald Trump says he is revoking the security clearance of his predecessor, Joe Biden.

Writing in a post on Truth Social, Trump said: "There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information."

He said his administration would therefore be revoking his security clearances and daily intelligence briefings.

"JOE, YOU'RE FIRED," he said.
