Rangers have agreed a deal to sign Lyall Cameron when the midfielder's contract with Dundee expires this summer.

The 22-year-old, who made his Dundee debut aged 16 against Raith Rovers in 2019, has scored twice in his eight games for Scotland Under-21s.

The Dundee-born player has made 108 appearances for the Dark Blues, scoring 27 goals and providing 12 assists.

He will not play for the Ibrox club until next season but is the second deal completed by Rangers in this transfer window following the arrival on loan of Lille defender Rafael Fernandes.

"I am delighted we have agreed a deal for Lyall to join the club and to continue his career at Rangers come the summer," said Rangers technical director Nils Koppen.

"He is a talented young player, who has already gained great experience in the Scottish Premiership, and adding young, Scottish talent to our first-team squad is hugely important to all of us at the club.

"Lyall has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow at Rangers in the coming years."
