PM: I thought I was attending a work event

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he "categorically" never saw an email inviting staff to a drinks party in the Downing Street garden during lockdown in May 2020.

It comes after his former chief aide Dominic Cummings accused him of lying to Parliament about the event, claiming the prime minister knew in advance it was a drinks party.
