Louis Buffon, the son of Juventus and Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon, made his professional debut for Serie B side Pisa on Sunday.
Unlike his World-Cup winning father, who made more than 1,000 professional appearances during a glittering career as a goalkeeper before retiring in 2023 - the 17-year-old is a left-sided attacking player.
Forward Louis was introduced as a late substitute by Pisa boss Filippo Inzaghi - who played alongside his dad for the Azzurri - as they fell to a 3-2 defeat at Spezia.
Pisa, who are second in the table, are looking to return to the top flight for the first time since 1991.
Turin-born Louis recently elected to represent the Czech Republic, where his mother is from, at under-18 level.
